Week #4: Tragedy
This week we have been working on our tragedy project. We had to read six different articles about tragedies and some of those articles compared how tragedy is no meant today and how it has changed from the past to the present. One of the articles that i read was talking about how tragedies in the present are now more emotional than before because they leave u with a sad or unhappy ending.

I didn't agree with that specific article. Tragic plays were not supposed to leave us with that lingering feeling. In fact, they were supposed to be the opposite of that.
ReplyDeleteI dont think it's the geres that are out now, i think its more of how society has shaped our minds to connect to certain things. back then it was common for everyone to watch,listen,hear one certain genre. It has become more of what we have been making it.
